2009 Annual Club Edition Bear - 12 inch

The 2009 Steiff Club Annual Edition Bear is the second in the series of Annual Edition Bears!

This 12 inch tall, fully jointed Teddy is crafted from curly brass mohair. He is wearing an orange satin bow embroidered with gold-colored thread which identifies him as the 2009 Annual Club Edition. Authorized Steiff Club retailers can “stock” the Club Edition so Club Members can see the actual bear before buying him and may purchase as many of this bear as they wish.

A rare photograph of Margarete Steiff holding one of her Steiff Bears was the inspiration for this bear.

Teddy Bear Margaretes five-way jointed, made of high quality white alpaca and wears a medallion around her neck with this picture on it. The soles and paws are made of wool felt, and the nose, mouth and claws are hand embroidered. There is also a scapbook which is dedicated to the 100th anniverary of Appolonia Margarete Steiff.
